Rose of the West is hands down one of the best tattoo shops in Colorado Springs. I’ve been going here for about two years now, and every single visit has been a great experience. The entire team is friendly, welcoming, and always makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. All of the artists here do amazing work, their designs are clean, creative, and exactly what you ask for. They also have a bunch of original flash designs that are always great to get, and every piece feels unique and full of character. What I love most is how they’ve built a real sense of community in the shop. It’s not just about getting a tattoo, it’s about being part of something that feels genuine and personal. Parking is easy to find, the shop itself is easy to get to, and it’s in a really nice part of town perfect for stopping in to get a tattoo and then grabbing lunch downtown afterward. If you’re looking for a place that does great tattoos and treats you like family, Rose of the West is the spot. Highly recommend.

Rose of the west is hands down the best place to get tattooed in the springs. Lauren is the sweetest soul with incredible talent. She makes you feel like you’ve been friends forever and has such an authentic way that puts you immediately at ease under her needle. You can tell she has taken the time to perfect her style of art. Lauren has done all of my tattoos so far and there is no doubt in my mind that she is who will do any future tattoos I get. I cannot recommend this woman owned shop enough: truly just a welcoming space for all with talent, heart and creativity in abundance.

ROTW is one of my favorite shops in the Springs. This crew specializes in traditional, highly recommend if this is your style! Everyone is incredibly welcoming here and I’ve always felt comfortable with the artists. Such a fun atmosphere. Benton has done a handful on my arm, and Lauren has blasted away on my leg - can’t wait to return for another!

If you're looking for a traditional tattoo, Rose of the West is the place. Lauren absolutely killed my first tattoo. She made the whole process quick and easy and is an expert artist with great designs. My tattoo hasn't even fully healed yet and I've already been getting compliments from complete strangers.

Are you ready for your next tattoo to be a soul journey? Are you prepared to come with a concept to be transmuted into art with a pulse? A warning; you will receive what you need, but not what you think you want. Accept this. If yes, come meet the Elvin wizard who owns Rose of the West tattoo. She is your guide. If no? That’s cool too, she has tons of rad flash up for grabs. But each piece is unique , so don’t wait too long. On the technical side she only tattoos in American Traditional style. She is an absolute master of tattoo placement on the body and she will tell you if it won’t work. Listen to her, poor placement can ruin a good tattoo. The shop is a great vibe and there are other talented artists you can meet as well. ~ $150/hour.
